Snow White House in The Hague – is not a craze in the Scandinavian interiors, is the desire of customers to receive the quiet interior to relax on the beach.
Quiet Interior in The Hague
Talented young designer Meyers Remy (Remy Meijers) specializes in the creation of innovative interior designs, as well as furniture production. All his work is characterized by thoughtful and informed decisions, concise lines, as well as the almost complete lack of decor. According to Remy Meyers himself, the tree, which he always uses in interiors, requires no additional accessories, it in itself is very beautiful and self-sufficient.
House in The Hague – one of the last projects of the designer. Customers – a French couple, want to completely transform your old house, which was built about a hundred years ago. They wanted to get a spacious and bright interior, so the open layout and large French windows and doors became the main base for creativity.
The designer decided to keep the original layout of the house, as well as beautiful antique ornaments on the ceiling and walls. On the ground floor there is a living room, kitchen, dining room, hallway and bathroom. Living room separated from the kitchen by sliding doors, so that you can create a completely open space. Such a decision is not so much aesthetic as functional: the light can penetrate deep into the house, which also contributes to the snow-white interior color palette.
The main decoration in the interior are textured surface of wood furniture and a few vases, molded from transparent colored glass
On the second floor, traditionally arranged private rooms owners of the house, as well as a guest room. Here as well as at the bottom, it was dominated by the royal white.
In general, the interior, as well as customers wanted, was very spacious and light, which promotes a calm and quiet rest.
